Quartz, sintered stone, or natural stone — how to choose
Each manufacturer specialises in a different material:
- Caesarstone, Silestone, Cambria, Vicostone, Hanstone, OmniaQuartz, Firstone — engineered quartz. The best choice for busy kitchens: stain-resistant, non-porous, and low-maintenance with hundreds of consistent colours and patterns.
- Dekton (by Cosentino) — ultra-compact sintered stone. Exceptional scratch, heat, and UV resistance. A strong choice for outdoor kitchens, commercial counters, and high-use surfaces.
- Margranite — natural marble and granite supplier. For one-of-a-kind slabs with real veining and character.
